Welcoming Winter in Costa Rica

April is the last month of the dry season here in Costa Rica.  Now, let's welcome the rain!!  During the rainy season, or what we like to call the "green season", our Bed & Breakfast takes on new life.  Our plants are so happy to see the first drops fall on their leaves.  During April, the heat becomes more intense, with increasing temperatures causing a greenhouse effect. Once concentrated, much of the heat in the soil starts to create moisture which rises creating the glorious clouds which gives life to the first rains after the summer.

Our hotel here in Playa Langosta becomes green with joy.  No doubt that is the perfect place for a wonderful nap under the sound of the falling rain. Come for a visit and we'll prove it to you...we're waiting with our umbrellas in hand!
