Every morning Lily makes a delicious dessert for our guests. We've already shared with you some of the amazing recipes we create here at our Bed and Breakfast. Today we will share with you how to make our delicious apple cake.
Ingredients:

700 gr of apples
• 100 gr of butter
• 2 medium eggs
• 1 level tsp of cinnamon powder
• 1 sachet of baking powder
• 200 gr of sugar

• 1 pinch of salt
• the grated zest and the juice of 1 organic lemon (grated zest + juice)
• 200 ml of fresh whole milk

Directions:
- Peel the apples, remove the core, cut them into quarters, then slice them across the narrow side. Put all the slices in a bowl and add the grated zest and the juice of an organic lemon
- In a mixing bowl, add the softened butter, sugar, cinnamon, eggs and the milk. Blend until you have a smooth and even mixture; you could also use a whisk or a beater, but sometimes the butter goes lump
- After pouring the mixture into a bowl, add together the sifted flour, the baking powder and the salt and blend everything: as you can see, now we have a rather thick dough. At this point, add the apples to the dough.
- Mix everything to blend well
- After blending all the ingredients, pour them into a 9-inch cake pan, greased with butter and flour. Then bake the cake at 350°F (180°C) for 50-60 minutes.
- When the cake is finished, let it cool down completely.
