Here at Sueño del Mar Bed & Breakfast we love welcoming groups and celebrating weddings here on our property! Sarah and John decided to be married right in front of Sueño del Mar on the beach with their closest friends and family. This wedding was very special as the entire wedding group stayed with us. After an intimate wedding, the group enjoyed a fabulous sunset followed by dinner at Pangas Beach Club here in Tamarindo. Congratulations, Sarah and John! We look forward to your next stay with us in the future!

Carrie & Oliver destination wedding day...
Last February 21 we witness Carrie and Oliver’s marriage. Was an exquisite destination wedding
design by the planners from Four
Winds Weddings.
Carrie Testimony:
Oliver and I just wanted to thank everyone for making our wedding an
amazing event! We really could not have imagined a better day or week
with our family and friends and the setting at Sueño del Mar was just what we
had pictured for our big day. We truly enjoyed every moment there and I
know our family's did as well, my mother cannot stop talking about how amazing
everything was. We are already talking about renting it out again for our 5
year anniversary :)
Thanks again for everything you did, it was amazing!

Tony & Nina's wedding week
February’s last week, with Nina and Tony’s friends and
family, was quite the adventure at Sueño
del Mar.
Nina & Tony booked the entire hotel to celebrate their wedding. 40 people were
down here for the event. They rented several properties along the same street
as Sueño. Literally turning the block
into their own backyard.
Tropical Occasions
wedding planners recommended our hotel so Nina and Tony could stay here
with their family and closest friends.
It was really a fun week, very animated group. They went
everywhere together not to miss any of the fun. As usual we recommended some
tours and activities including sailing, fishing, etc. Surfing beat all other
activities by a large margin.
Surfers: Nina, Tony, Brian, Jonathan, Nick, Tori, and Bill.
Support staff: Joe, Debbie, Tim, Barb, Mark, Anne, Connie, Skip,
Sue
The meeting place was the famous Tamarindo River mouth. Time, 4PM. Nothing better than watching the sunset from your surfboard. Brian was the first one up, followed closely by Tori. By the end of the session and with the help of the instructor Maria, from Sisisi Transfers and Tours, everybody was up and riding. Family members and friends were having a blast at the beach, laughing with the falls and cheering the rides.
It was really a great group of people, we hope to have them
down here sometime in the future.
Thank you guys for choosing Sueño del Mar for such an
important week.

Destination weddings and choosing a non-denominational pastor
Your wedding day is special. You want to get things “just
right” by choosing the right venue, the perfect dress and inviting all your
family and friends. However, one of the most important decisions you may make
is picking the wedding officiant. And
with a destination wedding in Costa Rica, one option that most couples choose
is a non-denominational pastor. Learn more about the benefits of using a
non-denominational pastor. Then, you can make an educated decision as to the
pastor you want to use at your wedding
- A non-denominational pastor is often willing to work in any venue--while many traditional ministers may only work in his or her home church making a destination wedding impossible.
- You have flexibility with the event. A non-denominational pastor is often more willing to work with you to include elements you want and leave out those you do not.
- You can have the warmth and love of a traditional wedding without any of the aspects that may not work with your belief structure.
- A non-denominational pastor is skilled at making you and all your guests feel comfortable during all portions of the ceremony.
As you can see, a non-denominational pastor can be a great
choice for many couples. We are here to help you choose a local officiant. We know your wedding is something that you
will remember for the rest of your life and we want to ensure that every aspect
is exactly as you’d like. Contact us today for more information on having a wedding at our beachfront hotel in Tamarindo, Costa Rica.
