Sueño del Mar:: Perfect place to propose!!!!::

One of the perks of being located on one of the most beautiful spots on Langosta Beach is having a front row seat to many special occasions. Along with weddings here at Sueño del Mar, we also host birthdays, anniversaries, and even wedding proposals. Last high season wedding photographer Jeff Hooper brought his girlfriend, Katie, to breakfast at Sueño del Mar to celebrate their two year anniversary of dating. Katie and Jeff met in Tamarindo while Jeff was on a surf vacation from Colorado. Katie had lived and worked as a photographer in Costa Rica for several years shooting weddings all over the country. One of their first days hanging out Katie suggested Sueño del Mar, and it quickly became the couple’s favorite local spot for brunch. She had no idea that two years later Jeff would take her here for brunch and propose to her on the beach right in front of our property! The two now live part time in Costa Rica shooting weddings together and were married last year. They return to Sueño del Mar regularly, and still consider it one of their favorite places in all of Costa Rica. Say I do in 2014 at Sueno del Mar.

Our 2014 will come with a lot of joy for many couples visiting our Beachfront B&B to say “I do” hearing the sound of the waves. In February we have Carrie & Olivier and Nina & Tony’s destination wedding celebration. They are two small families coming from different places to commit each other for the rest of their lives. 

They chose different wedding planners from the area to realize their dream wedding…

Nina & Tony chose Jaime, Anahi and Aimee from Tropical Occasions to orchestrate the ceremony on Langosta Beach.

Carrie & Olivier chose Kirsten and Jonathan from Four Wind Weddings create a Spanish Shabby Chic: 
The decor emphasis will be on the bohemian, homespun colorful details that complement this quaint seaside boutique hotel. Picture decor elements that would be found in a rustic cottage in Andalusia region of Spain: ripped fabric details, white, cottage, candle lanterns, and thick slab wood tables will be combined. Soft, flowing floral details will be infused into the ceremony and reception in wooden boxes and petit mixed bottles. Bite sized desserts will entice guests to the the dessert table, as well as a decadent butter cream cake, elevated on a wooden cake stand.  

Both planners are very famous designers from the Tamarindo and Langosta Area… We are very exited to have them in our boutique hotel and see what they can create for our guest!!
