::Kasey & Patrick dream wedding at Sueño del Mar::

The entire staff here a Sueño del Mar was excited to welcome Kasey and Pat for their Costa Rica destination wedding! After researching for wedding locations, the couple chose our property based on pictures they had seen of our beachfront bed & breakfast. With the help of Susanne and Sol, Kasey and Pat were able to bring their vision for the perfect beachside wedding to life. The decor highlighted the tropical feel and natural colors of Costa Rica using local flowers, serving fresh coconuts, and creating the perfect lounge space for their guests to enjoy the sunset. For dinner, the couple surprised guests with a tropical taco bar complete with several choices of salsas and toppings prepared in house by Eduardo and Sol. Along with the open bar serving tropical cocktails, the couple and their guests were able to experience some authentic Costa Rican cuisine. The couple danced the night away to a live band on our veranda to complete the perfect wedding evening. Kasey and Pat, thank you for choosing us as your wedding venue! We all wish you the very best in your new marriage and hope you are able to come back and celebrate your anniversary with us in the future!

Last February 21 we witness Carrie and Oliver’s marriage. Was an exquisite destination wedding design by the planners from Four Winds Weddings.

Carrie Testimony: 

Oliver and I just wanted to thank everyone for making our wedding an amazing event!  We really could not have imagined a better day or week with our family and friends and the setting at Sueño del Mar was just what we had pictured for our big day.  We truly enjoyed every moment there and I know our family's did as well, my mother cannot stop talking about how amazing everything was. We are already talking about renting it out again for our 5 year anniversary :)

Tribal Make Up fashion shoot at Sueño del Mar

Both Margaux and Sarah are wedding industry professionals who met through the grapevine and instantly became friends and creative collaborators. Photographer Margaux and Makeup Artist Sarah both split their time between Washington and Costa Rica.

Only being in proximity for limited times during the year, Margaux and Sarah teamed up for their second styled masterpiece with model Alejandra, stylists Andrea and Felicia, and fashion consultant Lisa Montalvo for a tribal inspired beach shoot.

The ladies chose Sueño del Mar for it's luxurious, yet relaxed, beach atmosphere. The gardens tropical flora and charming tuscan feel of the casitas were an ideal setting for capturing the essence of natural beauty.
