National Parks Day in Costa Rica

Today is National Park's Day in Costa Rica! Approximately 25% of the land in Costa Rica is protected and much of it can be found in our National Parks.  There are over 30 national parks in Costa Rica and they are located throughout the country and include different regions and attributes such as the tropical dry forest we have here in Guanacaste or the tropical rainforest located further south on the Osa Peninsula and Costa Rica's Central Coast.  In each Park, you'll find unique and special wildlife, plants and trees, many of which are endangered.

During your vacation with us at Sueno del Mar Bed and Breakfast in Playa Langosta, we invite you to explore some of our local National Parks.  Located near us, you can go hiking in Rincon de la Vieja, take a boat ride in Palo Verde or possibly see sea turtles laying their eggs in the sand at Playa Grande Marine Turtle National Park.

You will feel right at home at our beachfront Bed and Breakfast located near Tamarindo, Costa Rica.
