Summertime in Costa Rica

In Costa Rica there are two seasons. The summer season, starting in November or early December is the time when many people travel to the country. Summertime in Costa Rica is absolutely brilliant, with many special holidays and celebrations. During the summer season Costa Rica residents and tourists celebrate the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, Palmares Fiestas, and Semana Santa (Easter week) as well as local fiestas held in the small towns throughout the country. While the US and Canada are experiencing colder weather, it is summer in Costa Rica and no wonder tourists prefer to flock to our beautiful location instead of braving another winter at home.

Transitioning from winter to summer in Northwest Costa Rica means warm tropical breezes, very little, if any, rain and beautiful blue skies and sunshine each day.  Northwest Costa Rica, during the summer, sees short-term tourists as well as long term residents who vacation here for the winter months.

There are more birds migrating into the area and the scenery all around is breathtaking. Flowering on some of the trees, clear blue water and white sand at the beaches as well as a fun atmosphere amongst all the people, these are just a few of the delightful enjoyments experienced with a summer vacation at Sueno del Mar Bed and Breakfast. If you’re planning a vacation to Costa Rica, plan your visit during this amazing season and see why so many people love our country so much, returning time and time again.  Contact us today to get out of the cold and into our warm tropical Playa Langosta B&B!

You will feel right at home at our beachfront Bed and Breakfast located near Tamarindo, Costa Rica.
